With a footprint of just 800 x 450 mm and a storage capacity of 30 kg of food, the Adande compact unit is particularly suited to applications where available kitchen floorspace is at a premium. It is popular for mobile cooking catering and is specified extensively by QSRs. One world market leading fast food chain operator uses the compact model for the storage of frozen fries, with the fridge located next to the deep fryer for fast and ergonomic service. The same chain also uses the Adande compact fridge for storage of its iconic ice cream desserts.
The compact fridge can accommodate two 1/1 GN pans, one at 200 mm depth and one at 100 mm depth, suitable for storing chilled and frozen burgers or meat, adjacent to a griddle or charbroiler speed and ease of access. The depth of the drawer also allows the storage of bottled drinks. The compact model may be supplied with a fryer station worktop with racks to accommodate two or four fryer baskets. An optional solid worktop with a load bearing capacity of 223 kg is available for operators who wish to mount cooking equipment on the fridge.
To ensure the storage of chilled or frozen food at the correct conditions, drawer temperature may be regulated through a range of -22°C to +15°C, at 0.1°C increments. The compact model is inherently energy efficient due to its unique and patented insulated horizontal container design and ‘hold the cold’ technology, which also helps to maintain food quality and freshness for longer. The fridge operates, as standard, on a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant, R600a, which has minimal Global Warming Potential (GWP) and exceptional thermodynamic performance qualities.
